Paul Sanderson

Roger recently hosted a lunch in honour of Paul Sanderson, who retires as Director of the National Specialists Unit at the Valuation Office Agency.    Paul has had an impressive career and has been a great support to and a good friend of the Institute.    Here's some photographs from the lunch:

On 6th December, Roger attended the IRRV Scottish Association's Christmas Reception at the City Chambers in Edinburgh.

Roger in Aberdeen ...

Roger gave an address to the joint IRRV Scottish Association/Forum meeting in Aberdeen yesterday,   He highlighted the challenges and opportunities facing the Institute.  Here's a couple of photographs and a video of part of Roger's presentation:

RSA Dinner

Roger recently attended the Rating Surveyors' Association Dinner, along with Penny Ciniewicz, Chief Executive of the Valuation Office Agency and Graham Ryall, RSA President.    Here's a few photographs of the evening :

Canine Partners - Roger's chosen charity

Roger writes, "My chosen charity is Canine Partners and a donation site has been opened up for me. There is an email link and a short video on their website.

"Interestingly they are now providing dogs to ex service personnel injured or invalided in action – which links through to Kerry's Help for Heroes from last year."

West Midlands Association Dinner Dance

Roger, in his capacity as IRRV President, attended the IRRV West Midlands Association Dinner Dance last weekend.

Tegova Autumn Assembly in Cluj - Transylvania

Below are a couple of photographs taken during the Tegova Autumn Assembly in Cluj - Transylvania - which took place a couple of weeks ago. 

Geoff Fisher, former IRRV President, and David Magor, IRRV Chief Executive, are in the assembled company, along with Roger who is Tegova Chairman. 

The photos are taken at The Football stadium – the team having been quite famous a few years ago.

Roger comments, "The highlight, apart from the meetings, was a visit to a former salt mine where we descended 17 floors underground and listened to a solo violin recital in an amphitheatre that had been created in the main chamber."
